Very informative website, good job. Grandfather Robert Klinger was in the 203rd as truck driver. I was recently given many of his military items since my father has passed and trying to research his military career. Any additional info would be welcome.

My cousin, Vince Stout, son of Gordon Stout who was a clerk/typist with the 203rd told me about this site. I was 11 years old when my uncle was overseas and used to write and receive v-mail from him. He saved all these letters and after his passing his son sent the ones I had written back to me. Wonderful remembrances to have. Really enjoyed reading the history of the unit.

I am honored to be following in my Grandmother Frederica A. Coury's footsteps by serving our country. She is no longer with us but I know she is looking down on me and smiling from ear to ear. Thank You for putting this site together.

I found this site today while researching the 203rd General Hospital Unit which my Mother, an RN, was affiliated with when she was in the Army. She is listed on the "combined roster" as Myrtle K. McIlrath; she was a 1st Lt. I have some pictures of her and some of the nurses there -- and a few of the area (mostly from Post Cards she brought back) if anyone would be interested. This is incredible information; it "fleshed-out" for me the data from her Service Record, which I recently found. My Mother died on July 31, 1983. I am so grateful to see the information on this website.
